Evaluation of Abstracts and Papers (Oral/Poster Presentations)
• All submissions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee through a double-blind peer-review process. The identities and affiliations of the authors will be kept confidential during the review process. Each submission will be reviewed by at least two referees.
• The evaluation results will be communicated to the corresponding authors via e-mail.
• Acceptance letters will be sent by e-mail to the authors whose submissions are accepted.
General Rules for Oral and Poster Presentations
- Abstracts must not exceed 300 words.
- Abstracts submitted to the symposium must be prepared in both Turkish and English.
- Since the author information entered into the system will appear exactly as provided on the certificate of participation, authors are requested to enter their titles and institutional affiliations accurately.
- Full papers must be prepared in either Turkish or English and submitted together with a similarity report.
- Each participant may present a maximum of two papers at the symposium. An additional fee will be charged for a third paper.
Poster presentations must conform to the dimensions specified in the symposium guidelines.
- The presenter must be an author or co-author of the submitted paper.
- Certificates of participation will only be issued to presenters who deliver their presentations.
- Participation in the symposium is possible with an abstract submission only; submission of a full paper is not mandatory.
- Oral and poster presentations will be conducted face-to-face.
- The deadlines and rules announced on the symposium website shall apply to the submission of abstracts and full papers.
- Abstract files must be named in the format: “firstname-lastname-umyos2026”.
- Submitted papers must not have been previously presented or published elsewhere.
- All manuscripts must be prepared using Times New Roman, 12-point font, single line spacing, and justified alignment. All pages must be numbered consecutively.
